The University offers degrees at two levels for candidates who are not currently students at the University, but who already hold a Cambridge degree (and/or are eligible for another reason as set out in the Regulations). In both cases application is made to the University's Student Registry.
1. PhD by the Special Regulations
2. ScD (Doctor of Science) and the LittD (Doctor of Letters)
